OFFICE STAFF / OFFICE MANAGER

​

Job Hours: 8:30am - 5:oopm, Monday thru Friday

​

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • answering in coming and making outgoing customer phone calls- answering questions, resolving issues, or directing them to the correct department or team member.

  • Assists customers with website navigation

  • Answers incoming emails

  • staying up to date with incoming orders and following up to insure the are completed and shipped 

  • runs credit cards and enters checks 

  • follow up with our clients before jobs so that we have all of the information we need (schedules, time, equipment, etc)

  • reviewing photo day schedules and adjusts accordingly

  • mailing packages using USPS and UPS

  • General office duties

PHOTO SHOOT PHOTOGRAPHERS

​

Job Hours: Vary (Mostly Weekends)

Looking for dancers!

Requires little to no experience working with cameras/equipment/etc, Looking for dancers willing and able to learn about photography and who could shoot dance all day long. Must have a love for working with kids. (ex-student teachers/teachers a plus)

 

Job Description: travel to dance studios, schools and sports leagues to photograph dancers, students or league players

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

:

  • setting up lights, back drops, camera, and capture station

  • metering lights to achieve appropriate settings

  • Taking pictures of children aged 2-18 in dance costumes

  • Will often be responsible for posing their subject

PHOTOGRAPHERS FOR DANCE COMPETITIONS

Are you a dancer that’s interested in the production side of dance? Are you an ex-dancer that loves dance and still wants a (pointed!) foot in the dance industry?

 

We are looking for dancers and ex-dancers to train as photographers. We do not require you to have any experience working with cameras or production equipment, although it is a plus.

 

Why we look for dancers and ex-dancers:

We are a production company with our main industry being dance. We always find that our best photographers and videographers were once dancers! Dancers and ex-dancers are able to predict choreography and movement on stage that makes them able to get the best action photos and keep all children in frame at all times for video.

PHOTOSHOP EDITOR

​

Job Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday thru Friday

​

Job Description: photo retouching

​

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

​

  • Produce high quality retouched images in a fast-paced and fluid high-volume environment

  •  Manage all aspects of post-production work flow, tasks & client communications via online project management software & email

  •  Download, name and file images according to production procedures

  •  Quick corrections of hundreds of images per day in Adobe Photoshop

  •  Crop images and maintain file size specifications, sending to the lab and clients

  •  Place and track product orders

  •  Maintain proper file naming, metadata and image protocol for upload and archiving

  •  Work closely with our remote staff via chat/messenger assisting with basic technical assistance

  •  Follow team established “best practices” for non-destructive studio workflow

  •  Track & catalog photos from concept to completion

  •  The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with a strong work ethic

  •  Meet client and studio deadlines

  •  Identify, recommend and coordinate digital imaging solutions to clients

  •  Review prints from the lab for highest quality

  •  Sort, pack and ship outgoing client orders

  •  Identify and establish new processes that encourage efficiency in project management and information workflow

  •  Research and implement new techniques and skills

  •  Calibrate displays weekly and maintain consist color balance

  •  Effectively communicate with clients during proofing process to final complete the client order

  •  Use client's creative direction to anticipate retouching requests and elevate imagery without over retouching

  •  Ensure color consistency across images

PRODUCTION CREW MEMBERS

​

​

Job Description: travel to dance competitions and live events and assists in any production work our clients need, in addition to assisting our photographers and videographers in setting up our equipment.

​

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • setting up staging per clients request (i.e. marley, truss, drape, lights, backdrop, etc)

  • setting up projectors and projection screens 

  •  set up viewing stations

  • assist customers with using viewing stations,

  • accepting payments and ensuring order is correct

  • put photos onto flash drives for customers on-site

  • set up adjudication systems

  • setup up communication cables

SALES STAFF (PHOTO DAY & COMPETITION)

 

Job Hours: Vary

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • assist customers with viewing stations / pull up customer’s photos on viewing station

  • assist customers with filling out order forms

  • answer any questions customers may have about order forms, products, payment, and our ordering process 

  • confirm orders are correct

  • accept payments

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING ASSISTANT

​

Job Hours: Monday thru Saturday, flexible scheduling

​

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

​

  • maintaining our accounts 

  • create 2-3 posts per day

  • will accompany lead photographers on photo shoots & competitions to get candid photos and b-roll

  • make a minimum of one recap video per week

  • able to create up to date content independently and on a team

  • compose weekly MailChimp email promotions

STYLIST FOR PHOTOSHOOTS

​

Job Hours: Vary (mostly weekends)

​

Job Description:  travel with photographers to dance studios to assist photographers with posing children for their dance photos.

'

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

​

  • assist in setting up lights and back drops

  • assistant to photographer 

  • posing dancers for their photo

  • must have good sense of talent and skill level for child and give them a pose that works with their skill level

  • keeps an eye out for wrinkled backdrop, messy hair, smudged makeup, wrinkled costumes, untied and untucked shoelaces, and anything else that may be out of place

VIDEOGRAPHERS FOR DANCE COMPETITION

​

Job Hours: Vary (mostly Friday, Saturdays and Sundays)

​

Job Description: film live stage events at dance competitions.

​

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

​

  • capturing every routine for on-site encoding

  • maintaining live stream

  • set up adjudication systems

  • setup sound

  • setup staging

  • run cables in accordance with local fire and safety protocol

VIDEOGRAPHER FOR DANCE RECITALS

​

Job Hours: Vary (mostly Friday, Saturdays and Sundays)

​

Job Description: film live recitals

​

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

​

  • recording recitals (sometimes multiple shows in one day)

  • setting up sound feeds

  • capturing B-roll prior to the start of the show

  • organizing footage and sending it to EAP for post production

  • setting up backstage feed

  • run cables in accordance with local fire and safety protocol

​

For videographers using their own equipment you will need :

  • 2 ENG Cameras

  • Rear controls for your cameras to enable you to pan, scan and zoom smoothly

  • Tripod

  • 1-Shotgun Mic

  • 1-Ambient Mic

  • Two - 50-100 ft XLR cables

  • Wireless Mic (Optional)

VIDEO EDITOR

Job Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday

Job Description: editing recitals , creating DVD's, encoding files for different media streams

​

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

​

  • being proficient in adobe premiere pro 

  • being proficient in final cut 7

  • edit recitals

  • create recap videos

  • create behind the scenes reels

  • create montages

  • create reels for social media

​
